What Makes Tex Hill Special

Get a Head Start on High School

Students don't have to wait until ninth grade to begin challenging themselves with high school-level coursework. Tex Hill offers eight courses through which seventh- and eighth-grade students can earn high school credit, giving Tigers opportunities to explore advanced learning while preparing for the transition to high school.

Explore Future Possibilities

Career & Technical Education gives students an early opportunity to discover where their interests might lead. Through courses in areas such as engineering, audiovisual communications, and information technology, students can explore future pathways while developing practical, real-world skills.

Discover What You Love

Middle school is the perfect time to try something new. Tigers can explore their interests through award-winning band, choir, orchestra, theatre, dance, and visual art, along with athletics, robotics, journalism and campus news, UIL, PALS, student organizations, and a variety of clubs.

Critical Thinkers. Lifelong Learners. Fearless Leaders.

Tex Hill is committed to preparing students for a changing world. Students are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, take ownership of their learning, and develop the confidence to lead. Through strong relationships and a campus culture where everyone can flourish, Tigers build skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
